About Us

EduCon is not your typical education conference.
We’re a gathering of passionate educators, students, school leaders, innovators, and change-makers — coming together to imagine what school could be.

Held each year at the Science Leadership Academy (SLA) in Philadelphia, EduCon blends real-world learning with powerful conversations. It’s not about keynotes or PowerPoints. It’s about dialogue. Every session is a conversation — designed to challenge assumptions, explore big ideas, and leave you asking better questions.

We believe learning should be:

  • Inquiry-Driven

  • Project-Based

  • Student-Centered

  • Connected to the Real World

And we believe professional learning should be, too.

At EduCon, you’ll sit in student desks, walk the halls of a working high school, and engage with real students. You’ll meet people who are rethinking assessment, reinventing curriculum, centering equity, and building schools where kids want to be.

EduCon is both a conference and a community — and there’s room for you in it.

Whether you’re a classroom teacher, a district leader, a tech designer, a student, or someone who simply cares about the future of learning — EduCon is your space to think, question, connect, and grow.

We’re not just talking about change.
We’re practicing it.
Together.
